Who is 'The Loop'?
The Loop refers to all retail outlets in Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports – consisting of all direct retail outlets operated by DAA, all retail outlets operated by concessionaires and all food and beverage outlets operated by concessionaires.
The Loop is the new name for airport shopping in each of the airports and covers:
- The Loop at Dublin Airport
- The Loop at Cork Airport
- The Loop at Shannon Airport
The Loop Price Promise - Terms and Conditions:
1. The Price Promise must be read subject to these Terms and Conditions
2. The retail outlets participating in The Loop Price Promise are operated by DAA and concessionaires
3. Downtown is defined as a central shopping area in each airport’s local city or town in the ROI.
4. Comparable outlets are concessions off-airport outlets, established department stores, major fixed price shops located in central Dublin, Cork and Limerick and with matching service conditions. Please check with the airport outlets for the list of comparable downtown outlets in each outlet or product category
5. In order to be applicable for the ‘double the difference refund’ you must purchase and pay for in full a product from an outlet in The Loop. Within 21 days after the date of purchase you must have found an advertised price for an identical product (in terms of make, model number,size,colour,format) in a comparable downtown outlet. Competitors’ products must be in stock and available for purchase at the time the purchase was made in The Loop.Applications for claims for the ‘double the difference refund’ must be made in writing with proof of the lower price within 21 days of purchase and can only be accepted by The Loop Customer Service Team in Dublin, Cork and Shannon Airports.The customer receipt must be included in written claims or scanned and attached to emailed claims. Claims will be responded to within 7 working days of receipt by The Loop Customer Service
6. The 'double the difference refund' refers to the difference in the retail price between the price paid for an item in The Loop and the lower price in the comparable outlet. Staff at The Loop Customer Service will record details of the claims made and reserve the right to verify the evidence of the identical product sold at a lower price in the comparable outlet. Verification includes, but is not limited to, receipt, press, advertorial, web evidence of prices, phone call, email, direct contact with comparable outlet in question. If the claim qualifies for the 'double the difference refund' the amount will be refunded by cheque only. Refunds will be made in Euro only.
7. The Price Promise Double the Difference Refund does not apply:
- To downtown prices on items that are only available to or restricted to individual customers or groups, such as account holders, discount card holders, loyalty card holders or people availing of staff discounts.
- To items in vending machines, factory outlets, market stalls, mail order catalogues, the internet or home shopping TV channels
- Where you have exercised your right to a refund before you apply for a 'double the difference refund'
- To downtown prices on items that are on sale or items that are free or at a reduced or nominal price on the basis of promotions, including, but not limited to, 'buy one get one free'.
8. The information you provide to The Loop Customer Service will only be used to provide the Price Promise refund to you or to discuss your Price Promise claim
