Our Refund Policy
We hope that you are pleased with any purchase you make at The Loop. However,
if you are not happy with your purchase, we offer a 45 day returns policy, provided your purchase is in fully resaleable condition and in original, undamaged packaging. If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resaleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item.
EU Liquids Regulations
On November 6th 2006, a number of new security regulations regarding the transportation of liquids, gels and pastes became effective at all EU airports.
Any liquids and other substances covered by the regulations, in containers of any size, that you purchase in The Loop after the security screening point can be brought aboard your aircraft. Some specific rules regarding the packing of liquid, gel and paste purchases apply to transfer passengers and same-day return passengers.
Transfer passengers and same-day return passengers
- Goods bought by transfer passengers or by passengers on the outward leg of a same-day return journey will be sealed in tamper-evident bags, recognised as secure within all EU (and EEA) airports.
- All liquid, gel and paste purchases will be placed in a clear plastic The Loop bag and sealed at the point of purchase. The receipt must remain clearly visible. This bag must not be opened until final destination is reached. Opening or tampering with this sealed bag may result in confiscation at security check.
Passengers not returning on the same day
- Passengers not returning on the same day need to check liquid/gel items over 100ml into hold baggage

USA and Canada Passengers
Due to restrictions on US bound flights, passengers travelling from Dublin Airport via Shannon Airport on a transatlantic flight must do their Duty Free shopping at Shannon.
At Shannon Airport all purchases of Duty Free goods for passengers flying directly to the USA and Canada will be delivered to the boarding gate for collection as passengers board their aircraft. Airport staff are available to answer any questions with regard to these arrangements at the cash point.
In preparing for your trip, it is important to be aware of EU regulations on the transportation of liquids and their effect on your journey. For more detailed information and advice, go to http://www.dublinairport.com/plan-your-trip/tips-and-advice/EU_Liquids_Regulations.html
Shop and Collect
Shop and Collect is a free service now available for passengers travelling within the EU. Shop now before you fly and simply collect on your return. We will store your purchases for you while you are away and upon your return to the airport, they will be waiting for you at the Shop and Collect collection point in the Arrivals Hall, after you have collected your luggage and cleared customs.
Duty Free
Passengers travelling outside the EU can pick up top quality Irish and international spirits, beers and wines as well as tobacco products at duty free prices. Duty free means purchases can be made without payment of excise duty and VAT.
